Sabal in the Korean style, quickly thrown and trimmed with a bamboo tool. Made with hand-harvested wild clays from the Sierra Nevada mountains. Dipped in white kaolin slip and finished in a simple ash glaze. This particular bowl features a slightly coarser clay and includes naturally occurring impurities. A slightly outward shape embraces spring with an open heart.
The glaze for this piece will develop a rich patina with use, and is ideal for matcha ritual.
