Hand-thrown winter tea bowl in the Korean buncheong style, made of wild clays from the Sierra Nevada range. White slip poured inside and out, with a dark line forming where the start and finish of the pouring action meet. The clay used for this piece is coarser than usual, contributing a tactile aspect to the surface where the slip breaks on each rougher particle. This piece is blessed with a single, unapologetic iron blossom on the exterior. The natural glaze will develop a subtle patina with use.
