Hand-thrown and paddled bottle form. Eight sided. Inspired by traditional "Hwa-byeong," literally translated to "flower bottle" in the Korean buncheong style, made of hand-harvested wild clays from the Sierra Nevada range in California. Dipped momentarily in white clay slip and finished in a glaze made from locally and sustainably sourced almond wood ash. This glaze will develop a subtle patina with continued use. A lovely cascade of ash on the front gives a sense of gentle movement while the subdued green hues manifest a quiet nature. Watertight, ideal for wet or dry flower arrangements.
