Hand-thrown bottle form inspired by traditional "Hwa-byeong," literally translated to "flower bottle" in the Korean buncheong style, made of hand-harvested wild clays from the Sierra Nevada range in California. Dipped momentarily in white clay slip and finished in a glaze made from rice straw ash and powdered stone. This glaze will develop a subtle patina with continued use. Variation in the thickness of the glaze contributes to hues ranging from yellow to pearly white. Watertight, ideal for wet or dry flower arrangements.
