Hand-thrown bowl in the Korean buncheong style, made of hand-harvested wild clays from the Sierra Nevada range. Brushed with white slip and finished in a transparent feldspathic glaze. This particular bowl features distinct brushstrokes and includes naturally occurring impurities that have burned through the slip and glaze during reduction firing. One of a kind. The glaze for this piece is a very simple mixture of a feldspathic stone and wood ash. This glaze will develop a beautiful patina with use.
