Two Pouring Bowls, Sugu

Wheel thrown using hand foraged clays and ashes processed in my studio. Although less common in the modern household, these pouring forms were used in antiquity for many functions. Known as Sugu in Korea or Katakuchi in Japan, they are ideal for tea, spirits, or any liquid. Set includes two vessels.
The ash glaze will develop a subtle patina with use.
