Storied Objects are the honest, essential, and enduring tools we use in our daily lives. Whether they are woven, carved, thrown, dyed, forged, hammered, moulded, or bent — every piece is alive with the spirit of its making and the stories of its use.
Our collection of work is not only meant to offer craft of the highest quality but to evoke a different mode of living. A satisfied and intentional life with fewer things, but those select things being consciously crafted and built for daily use.
My work will soon be available at shopstoriedobjects

My work is featured in the current exhibition: TSUKIMI: MOON VIEWING
The quiet and poetic beauty of the moon jar, also known as 달항아리 (dalhang-ali) has fascinated many artists and makers from around the world. Ancient artists have paved the way, and our contemporaries have delved into their own phenomenal interpretations, honouring tradition, and merging modern techniques to continue the philosophy of the inspirational jar. The unbound, historical art form will develop everlastingly, yet simultaneously continue to hold its original moon silhouette.
The gallery is articulated around harmony and feeling, in its various expressions. Beyond the wistfulness, the melancholy feeling attached to impermanence, mono no awareis also admiration and joy in front of beauty, art and creation; it thus abides in the tension between impermanence and eternity.
The gallery is about resonance, dialogue, connections: between antique and contemporary, permanence and transience, East and West, humility and refinement, unique art pieces and daily ware.
My larger jars will be featured at the Salone del Mobile at the Poliform booth this spring. More info at Poliform
