Hand-thrown storage vessel in the Korean deombeong buncheong style, made of hand-harvested wild clays from the Sierra Nevada range. Ladled overtop with liquid white clay slip and finished in a simple feldspar and ash glaze. Finger marks reveal how it was handled in the slipware process. This particular jar features a slightly coarser clay and includes naturally occurring impurities. The glaze will develop a rich patina with use. Ideal for storing loose leaf tea or other valuables.
